lmua Discovery Garden is hosting its first monthly CEU event on Thursday, May 6th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The topic will be The Pandemic’s Effect on Children and Families Impacted by Autism: Treatment Implications/Considerations and Beyond.
As a prerequisite, everyone will be expected to have reviewed the following article prior to the meeting to begin the discussion (COVID-19 Pandemic and Impact on Patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder). Again, please read this prior to attendance and prepare to discuss.
If you would like, you may bring light snacks/beverages for yourself and/or to share. COVID-19 regulations are honored, so please remain diligent with your mask & social distancing. If weather permits, the session will occur outdoors.
This is the first session of the reimagined Maui ABA Journal Club and is limited to BCBAs and BCaBAs only at this time. If you would like to tour the grounds prior to the meeting, Dr. Lori deCrinis will be on site at 4:00 pm, with the meeting beginning at 5:00.
