Here are some positions we are looking to fill:


Care Coordinator (Social Worker)

Full Time

The Care Coordinator position will provide case management for families of children with developmental delay. Case management includes providing interim and on-going care coordination services for families in the early intervention program and assist children to transition to appropriate programs after age of three.

Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Pediatric experience with the birth to three populations is preferred
  • Hold a current Hawaii State License in Social Work preferred.

Physical Therapist 

Full Time

Provides comprehensive Physical Therapy services designed to focus on sensory motor function through enhancement of musculoskeletal status, neurobehavioral organization, perceptual and motor development, cardiopulmonary status, and effective environmental adaptation. This position also provides physical therapy consultation to programs as well as support and services for children in their natural environments.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college/university.
  • Pediatric experience with the birth to three populations is preferred.
  • Hold a current Hawaii State License in Physical Therapy.


Speech Language Pathologist

Full Time

Provides comprehensive Speech-Language Therapy services designed to focus on sensory motor function through enhancement of musculoskeletal status, neurobehavioral organization, perceptual and motor development, cardiopulmonary status, and effective environmental adaptation. This position also provides speech/language therapy consultation to programs as well as support and services for children (0-6) their natural environments.

Qualifications:

  • Master Degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited College/University.
  •  Pediatric experience with the birth to three population is preferred.
  •  Hold a current Hawaii State License in Speech-Language Pathology.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Full Time

The BCBA is primarily responsible for assessment and development of skill-acquisition and behavior intervention treatment plans for children receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The BCBA will design data collection systems and analyze the resulting data. The BCBA will provide direct ABA services as well as supervise the implementation of ABA services by Registered Behavior Technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing
  • Licensed to practice Behavior Analysis in the State of Hawaii


Care Coordinator/General Educator
on Molokai 

Part Time

The Care Coordinator/General Educator position will provide case management for families of children with developmental delay. Case management includes providing interim and on-going care coordination services for families in the early intervention program and assist children to transition to appropriate programs after age of three.  This position also participates as a team member in the promotion of activities designed to promote social, physical and intellectual growth needed for early childhood development.  The primary responsibility will be to conduct services while complying with Federal, State and program policies/procedures that are set within the program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Pediatric experience with the birth to three populations is preferred

We are engaged in family-centered, community based, therapeutic services for infants, toddlers and preschool children, birth to age six and their families. Since 1947, we have been fulfilling our mission to provide comprehensive early childhood development services to children and their families with the support and resources needed to achieve their full potential in life. Imua Family Services programs include: Infant Child Development Program services for children birth to age three, Early Childhood Development Program to children three to six years old, Camp Imua, and Newborn Hearing Screening for all infants born on Maui for early identification of hearing loss.
