Imua Family Services Third Annual Fantasia Ball- A Grand Success!

Imua Family Services is pleased to announce it attracted over 350 supporters and contributors who together at the Hyatt Regency Maui  raised over $55,000 in pledges, $15,000 more than budgeted. The Agency Gala marks Imua Family Services’ annual fundraiser, a kickoff to Week of the Young Child and Autism Awareness Month. Proceeds from this evening directly benefit IFS’ Early Intervention Programs.

The fundraiser garnered representation and recognition from the County’s Mayor, Alan Arakawa, the State’s Governor Neil Abercrombie and Senator Brian Schatz. Each acknowledged the organization’s contributions and services to the community through Early Intervention services for children with development delays. Two Imua Family Services’ Ohanas shared their personal journeys that would eventually cross paths with Imua. Mahalo to Stephanie and Zadoc Brown along with Marie and Jeffrey Thomas for lending your generous words.

The glamorous evening combined elements of fashion from guest designers Monarrez Collection to artful creations from U of H Maui College Fashion Technology, song and dance performances and personal testimonies. The evening was a culmination of hard work by many hands in our Imua Village. It’s about who we are and how we contribute to the world around us, and that nothing is ever as “Black and White” as it seems. Mahalo to each and every one of you who made this evening a smashing success. We truly would not be hear with YOU!
