The ocean cures people because of the magic it has. For me, the ocean is a place that brings me the most peace.

Being a professional stand-up paddleboarder, I am able to promote the sport and exercise of stand-up paddling which is helps you stay in shape and is family friendly.
Why do you choose to support a program like Camp Imua?
I think Camp Imua has a positive effect on the community by helping the kids have contact with the ocean and stand-up, it is a event that brings family union.
Tell us a story about how a child has impacted or changed your life for the better. Or tell us about your experience at Paddle Imua last year.
The happy smile of a kid on a stand-up board is the picture that comes to my mind of the Paddle Imua event last year. Last year when I competed in the Paddle Imua race it was very exciting because I was competing on my son’s due date. Two days later, my first son, Ka’io, was born. The sound of his cry and the smilely look on his face when he looked at me and my girlfriend changed my life forever, it’s a undescriable emotion that changed my life for the better.
